EMS LTD manufactured, powder coated and delivered all of the window surround frames which hold all of the light bulbs, all fabricated in Aluminium. The process included a design led by the client in which EMS advised on material thickness and bracketry to hold the individual frames in place. Each frame was processed firstly by laser cutting the blanks for folding into the required profiles. The Profiles were then welded together into straight sections or frames to suit all of the individual openings. The finished effect is some what stunning to say the least. Harrods

EMS LTD were involved with the supply, manufacture and delivery of the primary structure which supports the very striking star and wreath details, components were fabricated in Aluminium at various lengths as required with complicated hanging support bracketry which was designed by others. All of the fabricated parts were finished in a Terracotta Powder Coat to blend back into the fabric of the building. In addition to the supporting structure we also supplied 16 transport stillages to carry materials from a holding site to the centre of London for the installation which was carried out by others.
